A career and well-being partnership for forward-looking schools — built around your calendar, your curriculum, your counsellors, and your students. We don't deliver a programme. We become a school's counselling backbone.
A garden is never forced to grow. We follow The Gardener's Way™ — cultivating each child's own nature rather than pressing them into a template. We see the whole child: not a rank, not a percentage, but a person with their own roots and their own direction. And we build everything in one unchanging order.
A child who is steady, seen and safe can learn anything. We measure and protect well-being first — with clinical governance.
On that foundation we build durable, adaptable and transferable skills — the capabilities a student carries into university and the workplace, long after any single exam.
Only then does direction follow — a career pathway grounded in who the student is, chosen with evidence rather than pressure.
Well-being first. Skills second. Career third. In that order. Always.
That order isn’t ours alone — ASCA’s first Mindset puts the whole child first: mental, social/emotional and physical well-being before all else.
Rosemounts Institute is a career guidance practice rooted in Dehradun, anchored in a family legacy of schools that has educated young people in the Doon Valley for over sixty years. We follow The Gardener's Way™ — cultivating each student's own nature rather than forcing them into a template. Over three decades we have guided more than ten thousand students, and we are organisational members of the two bodies that set the global standards for this work.
Most counsellors ask what do you want to be, and where do you want to go. We ask a deeper question first: Who are you? Everything we build for a school flows from answering it honestly, with evidence, over years rather than in a single rushed term.
At the centre of everything we do is the VIP+™ Career Pathway Programme. Each student completes four validated assessments and receives a personalised pathway report that begins not with their marks, but with who they are.
What matters most to the student — the deepest layer. Reported in plain, modern language, not academic jargon.
Where their attention naturally pulls — pointing toward whole families of careers, not a single job.
Sixteen attributes that describe how the student is built — their natural strengths and their gentle growth areas.
What they can already do, and the one branch to grow next.
Across all four instruments, a single signal repeats. We weave the four lenses into one personal story — the student's Golden Thread© — and turn it into a clear, evidence-backed pathway the family can act on.
The four lenses are the student's self-report. We then triangulate them against parent perception, teacher perception, and the academic trajectory — so the final picture is validated from every angle.
One student. Four assessments. A clear way forward — in a report a 15-year-old and her parents can actually read. Most career tools stop at a score sheet. This one is engineered, end to end, to be understood, not just delivered.
The first thing the student sees is the whole report in six simple cards — story, strengths, growth, careers, next step. Everything after is detail they can dip into.
Every section opens with an "In plain words" box at a Grade-6 reading level. The depth is there for the counsellor; the clarity is there for the child.
A values wheel, an interest hexagon, a personality map, skill gauges, the Golden Thread© and a career roadmap — so even a skimmer sees the shape of themselves.
One tap turns the whole report into Hindi, Telugu and a dozen more — or into "Simple English" — so parents who don't read academic English are fully included.
A friendly owl guide answers the student's real questions — "what does this career actually involve?", "how do I talk to my parents?" — any time, in their language. Not a PDF to file away; a living guide that talks back.
A short narrated walk-through opens the report — so a student, a parent or a busy principal can see exactly how to read it before diving in.

Individual VIP+™ Career Pathway Reports, each with Manan™ the Guide built in to answer questions long after the counsellor session ends.
We don't replace your team — we equip them. Your counsellors (including any you add) work from our full assessment stack, training, and ongoing clinical supervision, with a structured methodology in place from day one. See the counsellor’s panel →

A school's most underleveraged asset is teacher well-being. Measured discreetly, reported in aggregate, confidential by design.
A structured methodology and full student dashboards from day one — not a system your team has to build from scratch.
A confidential space for students to check in and seek guidance. In a residential school it is available around the clock — including the evenings and weekends when a boarder most wants someone to turn to.
Insight is only half the work. The VIP+™ report surfaces the skills a student should grow next — and the Academy is where they build them. A growing online library of fifteen-minute micro-courses turns the durable, adaptable and transferable skills of DAT+M™ into something a student can practise, a little at a time.
Short, focused lessons that fit between classes — a skill built in the time it takes for a cup of tea, not a term-long add-on.
New courses are added continually, so the Academy keeps pace with the skills students and schools need next.
Each course connects to the DAT+M™ skills the VIP+™ report flags — so a student grows exactly the branch the data pointed to.
A report can point the way — but growth needs a place. The Career Garden™ is a living space we help create inside your school: somewhere students gather, talk, try things, and turn insight into real experience. It is where the VIP+™ journey stops being a document and becomes a habit.
A dedicated corner of the school where young people come together across years and streams — to share, question, and think out loud about who they are becoming.
Hands-on projects that let students practise the very skills their report surfaced — doing, not just reading — with mentors close by.
Chances to intern and build a real portfolio — evidence of what they can actually do, ready for the next school, college or employer.
Our well-being vertical is led by Dr. (Lt. Col.) Kartikeye Singh, consultant psychiatrist, who provides its clinical governance.
A complete vertical building the capabilities students carry into university and the workplace.
The VIP+™ pathway and ongoing counselling, always grounded in who the student is rather than in pressure.
Structured preparation for IELTS, DET and SAT, delivered by certified trainers.
Guiding students through shortlisting, applications, and the decisions in between.
The report is designed to do quiet, important work for the school as well as the student.
Families choose Grade-11 streams with evidence in front of them, not anxiety — reducing mid-year reversals and mismatched placements.
A dedicated, plain-language letter speaks directly to parents, and the translation feature means language is never a barrier to a parent understanding their child's path.
Every report carries a "snapshot, not a verdict" note and a clear explanation of how scores are measured. It guides; it never boxes a child in.
The report ends in a human Mirror Session™ — the AI and the data prepare the conversation; a trained counsellor holds it. Technology informs the decision; people make it.
The programme works alongside whatever your school teaches, whether CBSE, ICSE, IB, Cambridge, IGCSE or a State board, because it begins with the student, not the syllabus.
Manan™ the Guide answers only from the student's own profile, keeps to career and study topics, and gently points any distress toward a trusted adult.
Students complete the four online assessments — about 90 minutes in total.
Rosemounts produces each student's personalised VIP+™ report, with all visuals, Manan™ the Guide and translation built in.
Reports reach students and parents as a private web link — readable on any phone, in any language.
A trained counsellor sits with each student to turn the report into a decision and a next step.
The family chooses a stream and subjects with evidence; the student begins a 12-month portfolio of proof.
A complimentary pilot cohort runs the full VIP+™ programme — assessments, individual reports, Manan™ the Guide access and a counsellor Mirror Session™ — for your students at zero cost. You see the work on your own cohort before any decision to scale. The work should earn its place.
A 30-minute leadership conversation.
A complimentary cohort experiences the full programme.
Scale on your terms, year by year.
The Career Architect™ programme within the VIP+™ Career Pathway is mapped to the ASCA Student Standards — Mindsets & Behaviors for Student Success (2021) — and the NCDA National Career Development Guidelines. The framework a principal adopts here isn’t home-grown; it’s built on the standards the field is measured against.
